In review of John 8:36 it says, “If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed”
Bottom Line:
If the Son sets you free, then you will be really free.
What this means to me:
Jesus is the only one who can set me free, so if he says he has set me free, then I’m truly free.
Jesus tells me that, "I am truly his disciple if I remain faithful to his teachings. And then I will know the truth, and the truth will set me free.”
With this in mind I need to allow God into my work and home life and watch as He intercedes on my behalf, opening the windows of heaven and pouring out untold blessings. I can stop my self-defeating habits and negative thought. I can have the best of things even in the worst of times. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
To move forward I need to identify and change that thing in my life that is holding me back, and then be truly set free in Jesus’ name. This is my time to enjoy the immeasurable favor of Jesus Christ. I shouldn’t stop until the dream he has planted within becomes a reality.
