In summary of 1 John 3:18 it says, “Let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions”
Bottom Line:
Let’s not just talk about love; let’s practice it.
What this means to me:
I’m not to just give lip service or talk about loving others. I need to show my commitment by my actions. This means not just having good intentions but truly helping others. In the Christian life love is an action, a behavior a way of treating others. Love in God’s sense is not an emotion, it is an action. The proof is in the product, our love will be revealed in how we act towards others. Today I will consider how I’m loving others by how I’m treating them.
