In summary of Jeremiah 31:3 it says, “In the past, the Lord appeared to us saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.”
Bottom Line:
The Lord has told us that he has always loved us with a love so strong (unfailing.) Because of this he is patient and kind. What we can always expect is love from him.
What this means to me:
I should never forget that God is on my side. He is not out there to crush me when I fail (and boy am I grateful for this because I fail all the time.) He word reveals that he has always love me with an everlasting love that can never change. God is so patient and kind in his dealings with me. This gives me courage to move on and give my life for his purposes. Today, I will remind myself that God loves me more than I can even fathom.
