In summary of Romans 8:18 it says, "I believe that the present suffering we experience now is nothing compared to the glory he is going to reveal to us."
Bottom Line:
Any suffering we experience now will be nothing compared to the glory that God will reveal to us in time.
What this means to me:
God has so much better things in store for me if just continue to persevere and strive to achieve his will. He tells me that in the end, when I look back at what I had suffered it will seem so insignificant and will make what he has in store for me all worthwhile. It’s sometime hard for me to imagine what God ultimately has in store for me. This life is all about learning to have a relationship with him and preparation for what he will have me do. It would be worthwhile for me to reflect on this from time to time. It is a glory that will awesome and beyond any good thing that can happen here.
